Akwa Ibom 2015:  Udom Emmanuel  Gets into trouble with National Chairman of PDP ...for Flouting Electoral Laws!

Stooge of Akwa Ibom State Governor and Secretary to the State Government,Mr Udom Gabriel Emmanuel has run into trouble with the National Headquaters of the Peoples Democratic Party, to his office in Abuja over allegations of the early flag-off of controversial  electioneering campaign.


According to impeccable sources, The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Adamu Muázu has reportedly summoned the SSG over the steps which flouted the electoral laws of the land and is considered to be unaccepatable to the PDP hierachy which insists that it is determined to play by the rules.
The oraclenaija.com leanrt that Udom, who has even been accused of manipulating the register of the party in his ward is said to have purchased tens of state-of-the- art buses branded by the Udom Emmanuel Campaign Organisation, which is contrary to INEC’s stipulation on the 2015 gubernatorial election. This development is said to have not gone well with other politicians in the state.
Muázu was alerted about Udom’s disorderly conduct by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) who
have asked the PDP National Chairman to set a good example for democracy by putting his house in order. Alhaji Mu’azu was also advised to sanction the errant Udom in order to avoid a state of anarchy in the country, as other aspirants may want to follow the bad precedent set by deviant Akwa Ibom SSG.
INEC on its part was said to have received a number of complaints and documentary evidence from other governorship aspirants and indigenes of Akwa Ibom State, who feel that Udom was using his privileged position in government to an undue advantage.
It would be recalled that Mr. Udom Emmanuel, a former employee of Zenith Bank was appointed Secretary to the Government of Akwa Ibom State in July 2013 following a high-wired politicking that ousted Obong Umana Okon Umana from his former position as SSG. Mr. Udom Emmanuel is believed to be Governor Akpabio’s business partner.Political observers in the state have hinted that Udom may soon run into trouble owing to his undue haste and the attempt by Governor Akpabio to impose him on the electorate.
Speculations are rife labelling Udom as Akpabio’s stooge and a man who has no antecedent in the area of politics. It is widely believed that the motive behind the imposition of Udom would be to shield the governor and his family, as well as cover up his business dealings, while he (Akpabio) continues to administer the state by proxy after the expiration of his tenure in 2015.
