NEWS ALERT: UYO GETS TOO HOT FOR AKPABIO!

For a myriad of spiteful things which the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, chief Godswill has brought upon himself, theoraclenaija.blogspot.com can report that the city of Uyo has become too hot for him at the moment.

According to impeccable sources that spoke to us, the insistence of the governor on imposing his current SSG, Emmanuel Udom on the people as the next governor of the state as well his desperation to become the next senator representing the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District of the state at the National Assembly have combined to pitch the governor against most of the prominent indigenes of the state.

“Everyone that matters in this state is against the man because we see that he is not after the wellbeing of the state. He wants to turn the state into his private property and we are not going to allow that to happen. If he is not careful  he will be so disgraced out of office that it would be impossible for him to come into this state again”, our source told us earlier this week.

Apart from the opprobrium that which has greeted his awkward political ambitions within the state, Akapabio has also come under national and international condemnation for motivating the  Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly to pass a law which allocated hundreds of millions of naira to him and his family after his exit from office in 2015.

We learnt that the volume of negative reactions which came out of his recent actions has forced the governor into retreating into himself to the extent that he has even contemplated taking a leave to travel out of the country until the virulent criticism he has received subsides even as he opponents promised more of such trouble for the governor.

These are not good times for the Akpabio at all!
